HISTORY

The Consultation and Research Institute is a private Lebanese Consulting firm established in February 1977 and registered in the Trade Register under the number 34 979.

CRI’s first activity was the publication of a monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI), which even during the war, was never interrupted even after the government ceased to publish its own CPI. Following its success with the publication of the monthly CPI, the Consultation and Research Institute expanded its activities beyond its intended specialty of business studies to also include social and economic development studies in and outside of Lebanon.

CRI has accumulated a wide experience since its inception from which it has acquired a reputation for quality work. It has thus become a reference and data source for many local and international governmental and non-governmental organizations.
